The Velocity Aileron Pro Disc Wheelset features a disc specific elliptical profile designed for aerodynamics and low weight.
The Velocity Aileron Pro is tuned to be aerodynamically paired with 23-28c road tires, though a 20mm inner width compliments even the most voluminous gravel and ‘cross tires.
Tubeless ready using 24mm Velotape.
Tight tolerances require the use of a low profile rim tape like Velotape to avoid tire installation issues.
Veloplugs are not recommended on Aileron wheels.

Front hub
1. 9mm quick release option - features double disc side bearings for added rigidity under heavy braking. 2. Convertible option - allows 9mm quick release, 15mm, or 20mm thru-axle compatibility - conversion components are included with the conversion wheelset.
Rear hub
Converts from 135mm quick release to 142x12mm thru-axle compatibility, and will accept Shimano/SRAM 11, Campagnolo 11, or SRAM XX1 cassettes. One axle and cassette body configuration is included with the wheelset - Shimano/SRAM 11 cassette body includes a spacer for use with 8/9/10 speed systems.
Sapim CX-Ray Spokes and alloy spoke nipples are used throughout for unrivaled performance.
Internal cam quick release skewers are included with front wheels and 135mm rear wheels.
